About Baywolfe

or 618-977-1910

Baywolfe live music band originally started by Bobby & Larry Rolens in 1985. The cover bands popularity was huge, eventually becoming a Midwest Favorite band for hire. They continued their success with the live music venues & their 2 night clubs, Granny's Rocker in Glen Carbon & Alton, until Bobby left to tour world wide with Gretchen Wilson. Larry joined the Bellamy Brothers & also toured world wide. The guys toured with many great stars such as Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Miranda Lambert, Kid Rock, Big & Rich, Tim McGraw, Charlie Daniels, just to name a few. They have also played The grand Ole Opry numerous times. Bobby has played the CMA Awards, The Grammys, The Super Bowl, Jay Leno, David Letterman, Regis & Kelly, Ellen Degeneres, Madison Square Garden, the White House under George Bush.  Bobby appeared in 3 music videos, Gretchen Wilsons "Redneck Woman", "California Girls" , & "All Jacked Up" .

Bobby moved back from Nashville, Tn. in 2009 and joined the band, "The Well Hungarians". He played with them until 2014 when him & Larry had an idea of starting the band "Baywolfe" back up again. Larry had recently left the Bellamy Brothers. When this happened, it was the perfect opportunity to reunite "Baywolfe", the band they loved so much. With original member Craig Varble agreeing to return, the idea took off. Craig's bass guitar playing & vocals were the icing on the cake the band needed to reform.

Joining the band is Jaylon Rolens on drums. He is the son of Bobby Rolens. Jaylon started playing drums before he could walk. His natural talent and passion for playing drums has made him one of the greatest players around.

The guys love playing music together & are all the best of friends.
